There are various ways to reach Storhogna Winterlodge depending on where you are in the world and the season in which you plan to travel.
In winter, the night train is a convenient option, while in summer, the journey can become part of the experience by taking the Inland Line, named one of the world’s 10 most spectacular train journeys by The Guardian. See travel route suggestions below:

From Stockholm
Airplane: Åre Östersund Airport → car rentals are available at the airport with the following providers: Sixt, Budget, and Rental Cars.
Car: ca 475 km
Electric car: Charging stations are available at M-huset, 400 m from the cabin.
Nighttrain: Snälltåget can be booked HERE and travels directly to the Storhogna M stop. The train stops at Röjan station, and then a transfer bus takes you to the final stop, Storhogna M (about 400 meters from the cabins).
The inland line: The nearest stop is Röjan Station, which you can book HERE. From the station, it's about a 20-minute ride with the snow shuttle/transfer bus, or you can book a taxi: Beep Beep Transport +46 706-225 226, Mohlins Taxi Vemdalen +46 684-10500, or Taxi Klövsjö +46 70-622 52 26.

From Östersund
Car: ca 110 km

How to find us GPS
It’s easiest to enter “Storhogna M-huset” into your GPS. Then instead of turning left toward M-huset, continue straight and take the next left. Then take the second left onto Envägen.
