In the area surrounding the cabins, you’ll find snow-sure alpine skiing with great variety and a vertical drop of 470 meters. There are a total of 35 lifts and 58 slopes spread across Storhogna/Klövsjö, Vemdalsskalet, and Björnrike. Lift passes can be purchased via Skistar, which has a reception at M-huset or through the app There, you’ll also find a wide range of equipment available for rent. A snowmobile is an excellent way to explore the wilderness on a guided tour. There are both half-day and multi-day tours available if you want to give your legs a break from skiing.

For cross-country skiers, Storhogna and Vemdalen offer trails with stunning views of the mountains, reaching up to 800 meters in elevation. There are a total of 60 km of interconnected tracks, suitable for both classic style and skate skiing.

For fishing enthusiasts, there are many beautiful tarns to explore even in the winter months, making it a perfect day trip for the whole family. Here, you can catch trout, char, grayling, and rainbow trout. There are also grilling spots and wind shelters at several locations, or you can book a guided ice fishing tour with lunch cooked over an open fire.

Ice climbing is available from January to March on the majestic Fettjeåfallet, a 75-meter waterfall surrounded by authentic nature. No prior experience is required, and you can book either a half-day or full-day tour for an exhilarating experience to remember.
